Can anyone serve process in New Jersey?

How do you serve a corporation in New Jersey?
For corporations and business entities, service must be made on the registered agent, or on an officer, director, trustee, managing or general agent, or authorized representative. If service cannot be made on these individuals, service can be made at the registered office or principal place of business on a person in charge.
